Cowboy Butch and Bobby head out to the South 40 to help with the branding of some calves. They find a calf with it's leg stuck in a wash and it starts to rain. The wash starts to fill up up with water and they have to rescue the calf before it drowns. Cowboy Butch is hit by a log as he is is helping get the calf safely out of the wash and is rescued by his horse Fireball. This book is 11 pages with illustrations.
