It is Christmas at the Flying W ranch and Bobby's family is there visiting his Grandpa and Grandma that own the ranch. Cowboy Scotty has a appaloosa mare named Pepper that was a mustang. Pepper is going to have a colt and wants to return to her mustang herd up in the mountains to have her colt. She escapes and heads back up the mountain to her mustang herd. There is a big snow storm and Cowboy Butch and Scotty along with Bobby head out to rescue Pepper. This book is 10 pages with illustrations.
